    Cannot import .gif's in Publisher 2000

    I recently re-loaded WIN 98 SE and Publisher 2000. Now I cannot import .gif files. When Pub opens a dialog box to insert graphics, it only lists .wmf, .jpg, and a couple others. I have re-loaded WIN and Pub to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated. gbcutter
