we have a customer who always has 1 resolved item when wyncing his iPaq with ACT.
Is this a known issue or is there something wrong with a record or setup incorrectly?
Any help would be appreciated.

I dont beleive so, however you can change that default location in Word 2003 not sur eif its the same for other versions, by going to tools, options, file locations - select user templates and click modify, you'll be able to browse to another location to set as the default.

a custom report,
did you design the report yourself?
are there any filters/parameters on the report?
if so it mght be your report selection criteria cud be wrong.

I believe that if the service is set to auto start then it does start without having to login to the server, as it starts the services in the back ground.

What might be better is to restore to a different location and then attach that database. you could now copy the contact from the restored database to the current database by using FILE>>SYNCHRONISE>>COPY/MOVE RECORDS.
If you do this take a backup first.
