    I tried a coverage appearance key. When I called the ext number I was covering I got a busy. I will attempt that today again. Thanks for the replies. That makes sense. No apearance button, no bridged appearance, Duh.

    Can I use a bridged appearance on digital phone for an analog port? I programmed it but it does not ring or show red LED when the analog is ringing or busy.

    500v2 with combo cards and crosstalk

    I have an IPO 500v2 7.0.27 with 2 combo cards. I have Time Warner analog trunks that come off of a cable modem. Customer reports crosstalk occacionally on external calls. I have customer attempting to narrow down lines and extensions. Has anyone heard of crosstalk on the combo cards? Thanks

    separate company, line appearances, HGs and ringing.

    They want to be able to press the line button to dial out and to be able to pickup the call on hold on the line, like in a a squared system. Will "ringing line preference" or "idle line preference" do anything for me?
