Hi not sure if this is what your looking for If your using straight VB suggest that you pull in reference busobj.tlb This exposes the BO object model. you can instaniate it, view it thru the object browser etc. A good way to learn- phildownunder

how to export data to excel
hi if excel isn't available on the server (can be the case with IIS servers) then you can setup a csv.dsn (Microsoft Text Driver) you can then use ADO to operate on comma delimetered files. these can be be moved to the client and opened in excel phil- phildownunder
