Thanks for your help.. i dont know much file i/o using Jscript but What if i wrote those jscript variables to a text file on the server. I could then access this info using php.. I suppose this would give me the info on the previous visitor..that would do. Would it be possible to do it this way?

i want to swap the new windows millenium icons (my comp,recycle bin etc..)onto my laptop running win 95 just to make it look a bit more modern..but i cant find the icons anywhere?? does anyone know how to do this?

well what can i say ... the stuff you gave me was great and using this i got the pages to update perfectly..this is the site that i was working on and now i can update through the admin page..they update only 5 pages ..juniors,match reports,overseas activities and family fun...
