    Can you run DNS with active directories?

    Yes you can... Just install the DNS service. Technically you are supposed to have DNS installed and running before promoting the server to a Domain Controller, so Active Directory has a Naming Scheme.

    There are 2 that work really good.... One is AVX (www.centralcommand.com) which is good for 30 days then you have to purchase. The second is AVG (www.grisoft.com) which is free. Avx is the only one that outsmarts Norton and Mcafee... I will never EVER buy their products again.
