    Avaya 3920

That seems to be a serious limitation (one phone per base). At least with the 9040's you had the DRM to allow for two phones. Additionally the requirement that you must have one repeater per base station seems to be a big burden. Is there a DRM on the horizon for this phone?

    Avaya 3920

Would like to replace two Transtalk cordless sets with 3920 sets. Several Questions: 1.) Can one base station support multiple cordless phones? 2.) Do the repeaters need to be plugged into the Partner system or just a regular outlet? 3.) What would you reccomend for an install in a 12,000 sq ft...

    Partner ACS rel. 8

Been using it at my home for 3 years. Love it. Having features which Panasonic has (ethernet config, replacement for transtalk series, ability for single line phones to get call ID) would be great. That being said I think our 5 line 26 ext partner system rocks and don't intend to switch. My...

Just Did Neat Addition to ACS 6.0 Residential

We have a unit for our driveway announciator "Cartell" that makes a tone in the front hall of our home when a car arrives in our driveway. Problem we have been having is it is not able to be heard in different rooms of the house or when we are hanging out outside. I solved it by linking the...

    Avaya PC Admin Idea

I have a good 'ol US robotics modem I use for PC admin at my home for my ACS6.0 system. Problem is, it just died the other day. Is it possible to use the internal modem in my PC (which normally doesn't connect) and connect it through the AUX port on my 18D phone and get a successful connection...

    Partner 60 with Transtalk 9040

Thanks guys. I wil try that tonight. Maybe it would be easier to just try it via PC Admin though. I never understood why they would stop selling this phone. For inner city installations, I can see how there would be problems. My home isn't in the boondocks (30 miles from NYC) but we still...

    Partner 60 with Transtalk 9040

Hi All Just added 2 transtalk 9040 handsets to my partner acs 6.0 home system. I am having a slight problem though. The handsets both make the "chirp" sound for up to 10 minutes after a call is placed and picked up on another line. The chirp continues until I press the talk button and press...
