Quick udate - I uninstalled ZoneAlar, had to manually delete the ZA folder (uninstall was 'complete' but not really) cleaned the registry and files with System Mechanic, then tried to accesss the internet. NO LUCK. I reinstalled ZA without rebooting, and access was restored.
