    Add character in string

Would the 'stuff' command work for adding 3 zeros to the front of a string that has seven digit data in a 10 digit-length field? I need to take a value of 0789654 and make it 0000789654. Steve

Date Columns that read from a table of periods

LB - sorry about that. Those were two thoughts. One os use the table and the second and define the years and dates in each column.

Date Columns that read from a table of periods

LB - One thought though is that I don't have to reference the year or period and all of the starting and ending dates are in one table so couldn't I just link the table and somehow use the columns to look at the dates (starting and ending) to create a column period/date range dynamically? I...

Date Columns that read from a table of periods

That was my concern. Also, the parameteres would have to be maintained as future years/periods are added to the table... For some reason I thought I could include (link) the table in the report and reference the dates by period and year.

    Nested BOMs

If you don't want to set up your subassemblies as inventory items but want to include them as components in other BOM's do the following: In BOM setup, make sure you have "use Phantom bills" checked. Create your subassemblies as Phantom bills. Then in BOM maintenance go to your parent...

    Dynamic Date Columns Formula???

Madawc - I am using Crystal 8.5. I looked at cross tab reports but I have 4 columns of data that don;t have amounts associated with them and I was unable to get those and the vendor name on one line using a cross tab report. And you're tight, I'd need the month to show even if it didn;t have...

    Dynamic Date Columns Formula???

I am trying to create a report that has amounts in columns by month. I will have twelve columns of data (no running total or grand total column) and need to be able to have the user enter an ending date which would control the date range of data selected.
