Whenever I'm trying to telnet/ssh into a solaris 8 server from my linux workstation, the terminal settings do not play well with each other. I'm not able to vi files properly and tail does not work on the solaris server. TERM env is set to vt100 on both sides. Has anyone ever seen this problem?

I've figured out my problem. I had to add all the printers using a windows 2000 machine. Try to add printers using the add printer wizard on a win2k machine instead of an XP machine.

On mandrake 8.2, browsing an NFS mounted directory doesn't list all files. I can see the files from a terminal. But, when I use a browser or file manager of any kind, some files are missing. I've gone through all of the different NFS mounting options, and still nothing. Any ideas? Thanks
