SBS 2003 - Remote Web Workplace

I have been trying to get RWW working on our network here. I can connect and authenticate fine, at the initial logon screen, then when I try to connect to a client desktop here (running XP Pro SP2) I get the message - "Connectivity to the remote computer could not be established. Ensure that...

    external dvd writer

I hate to say this but the laptops have no floppy drive either! If they did have a floppy I would have tried the old 98SE boot disk thing ages ago! I know the ghost images are good as they have been used before (witnessed by me!) it is just when it loads the Ghost boot menu that it can't detect...

    external dvd writer

I have just started with the company and I will endeavour to find out! On another note someone has suggested that I boot up from a boot cd and then run ghost.exe from the initial disc. Will this work?? If you reckon it will how do I create a disc? Any instructions??

    external dvd writer

The image wasn't created by us, basically we get the laptops in, put the image on that is supplied to us by the client and ship them out after. It just so happens that their requirements were for laptops that have no optical drives! The bios does support booting from usb devices but it is when...

Yes we get the boot screen in DOS showing our options to use the internal drive, or internal alternative or to go to DOS. It doesn't matter which option I select, it fails to find the USB drive then simply goes back to DOS. HELP! Many thanks one and all....

    external dvd writer

I have an external dvd writer and some laptops that need to be built with a pre-organised Ghost image. The dvd writer is USB and as soon as I boot off the first ghost cd it drops back to DOS as I am assuming that it doesn't recognise the drive.... can anyone offer any advice?? Cheers!

    Printing from Citrix

We have several users here that use Citrix to access a third party app for financial information. Everything is fine with them accessing it and the problem occurs when they try to print an invoice to a network printer they have here, namely the Xerox Document Centre 535. The logo for our company...

    IE6 Rollout

I need to roll out IE6 to all of the desktops in my organisation to ensure another application runs correctly. I don't have access to SMS and I need a relatively simple solution. I have already looked into using the IEAK and it requires administrator privileges to make the necessary changes when...

    ATI Radeon 9600 Pro problem....

Many thanks for your help everyone. The problem has now been identified and rectified. It turns out his mobo will only support up to 4x AGP and the Radeon card is an 8x AGP card!! D'oh! He now has a 4x AGP card and all is working fine! I should know I totally re-built his machine last night with...

    ATI Radeon 9600 Pro problem....

My friend purchased the above graphics card at the weekend and simply cannot get it to work. He is running a Pentium 4 1.5ghz, 384mb RAM, and is using a Packard Bell Evergreen 2 motherboard (version 2). When putting the new graphics card into the AGP slot he gets nothing when he switches on the...

    Compiled report problem....

Well I have solved the problem by re-compiling and distributing it too. This creates a setup for the individual report which for some reason eliminates the error message! Thanks everyone for your help

    Compiled report problem....

It is using exactly the same files as all of the other machines that make use of the compiled reports feature. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this error message???

    Compiled report problem....

When trying to run a compiled report (compiled using V8.0) I get an error message simply saying 'CRRUN'. That is it. I can successfully run the same report on other machines, which indicates it might be some sort of local file corruption (maybe a .dll file???). I would appreciate any info that...
