If this does relate to printing you can use the qcan command.
Do this first..
# qcan <rtn>
This shows you the appropriate syntax to use on what you want to cancel.
Quick note - an IBM CE told me that anytime the AIX errpt of a P series machine has an entry then this light comes on.
I also heard that if the bootlist has cd0 in it that this causes the light to come on; however I can't confirm that.
To check the bootlist for normal and service mode do...
Do this also..
#lppchk -v
This should show nothing and go to the next line, that means all your filesets are cool. If it does show some then you can probably be safe in removing them via smit.
