This is a little messy but if you feel comfortable with the registry do a search for virusscan, mcafee and network associates delete everything that comes up. Restart the machine and delete the directories/folders associated with network associates and don't forget the one in common files. Now...
Why does Mcafee hang if it doesn't have a network connection and is there a fix? If I start Mcafee with a network connection it starts fine. If there is no network connection is will just hang but a soon as it senses a network connection its starts right up.
