    Horizontal pop-up menu cell width

I don't have much time, contacting them would take too much of it. I don't think they could do any good anyway, since it appears to me to just be a limitation of their behavior.............. which is why I'm looking for a javascript solution to work around the problem.

    Horizontal pop-up menu cell width

No help for this one?... I'm pretty stuck, and it seems like something that should be pretty easy to modify.

    Horizontal pop-up menu cell width

I created a pop-up menu using the behaviors in Dreamweaver and now I'm trying to fix the things up so that it's actually presentable. The big problem I'm having is that it's a horizontal menu and the width of each individual link cell is not modifiable.... I can only select one set width for all...

    Breadcrumbly

That sounds good..... any resources to look into that?... or maybe you can just get me started on how to do it? :)

How to make User Name case insensitive?

Couldn't you just UCase() all the user names so that they are always in caps?

    Breadcrumbly

I'm trying to put breadcrumb navigation at the top of a site, and ordinarily it would be a simple enough task, but on this site it's just a pain in the butt. So I have a wonderful function that creates a breadcrumb navigation bar based on folder names... but the site isn't organized in any...

Highlighting differences... yes, I'm still on this

Thanks Clay. I'll probably keep working on it based on what you guys have told me, but I'm going to tell the bosses that this is out of my league..... I'm definitely NOT a hairy-chested programmer... my chest is bald... intern bald :)

Not a single person has a suggestion?

Highlighting differences... yes, I'm still on this

Okay, well I thought I was going to be taken off this task, but I never was...... so I need to fix this process of highlighting the differences between two articles (that line up side by side), modified and the old version. I went back and basically started over with a different...

    Comparing strings --- inserted sentences

Thanks, I'm thinking this task is pretty advanced for an intern.... I've made some decent progress on it, but it's getting to the point where I can't hold it all together in my brain........ especially with what you just showed me... ouch, it hurts. So I'll probably end up screaming to my...

    Comparing strings --- inserted sentences

Thanks, I'll check it out. ... I know, it's a bad joke. That's the username to my hotmail account....... a little dorky self-deprecating humor because I couldn't get anything else to take as a username. I'm not uneducated... just a freak :)

    Comparing strings --- inserted sentences

I have two strings side by side that compare to eachother and highlight the differences (one is a modified version of the other). I am comparing by sentence right now (thanks to a suggestion that I split it up by the periods). My problem is that if there is a sentence inserted or deleted...

    Comparing strings, finding differences

Okay, I've gotten along alright and now I'm to the next really big step.... but thinking it through I can't come up with a logical way to achieve it. The document is split up into sentences... the problem is that if you add a whole new sentence (as you can see with "oobie doobie" in my...

    Comparing strings, finding differences

Wow, very helpful post.... getting me all fixed up. I never even thought to view the source from the browser, that can be pretty helpful for understanding. Thanks!

    Comparing strings, finding differences

Well it seems it has to do with the css highlighting.... but why the heck would that be?.....

    Comparing strings, finding differences

Okay, I've run into a bit of trouble here. I've got a very basic code comparison going on where it highlights the areas that are the same with cyan, and the areas that are different with pink..... the problem right now is that somehow a space keeps showing up between each of the letters...
