Is there any way so that the ticks do not appear?
The important point is if I try to export the table into excel directly from the Menu - File->Export there is no such issue. The ticks are not seen for TEXT fields.

Well I am pretty sure that all the value in the text field is numeric psuedo text so converting to NUMBER should not be a problem.
However I want the NUMBER to be of format DOUBLE as per Access format.
My text numeric is 20-digit long!

You very well get all the traps on the device even if you miss it.
This is only possible if the device implements RFC 3014 - Notification Log MIB.
As mentioned by "leaf" some devices do have an alarms table implemented but there you can get the current alarms traps not all the traps...
