[HELP] Pix - 501 Firewall Setup
Hi all Here is my setup ADSL MODEM (ROUTER) -------------- (OUTSIDE 0) CISCO PIX --- PC#1 and PC #2 ( INSIDE 1 & 2 ) I have put my modem into Pure bridged Mode .. so PIX will DIAL out to PPPOE i m using 192.168.1.0/24 on my inside netwrok pC # 1 IP is 192.168.1.5 ( STATIC) PC # 2 IP is...- nisarg86

Pix -501 --- Adsl connection PPPOE
Hi all i m not able to brwose website .... I have successfully setup PPPOE on my Pix .. and i am able to login to my ISP's PPPOE server.. i can ping my DNS server from PIX CONSOLE ...but not from my PC i have also setup DNS on PIX..still not ...working here is my config PIX501# PIX501# sh...- nisarg86

LOOPBACK ON CISCO Routers
I have a Question Why we are creating LOOPBACK ADDRESS ON ROUTER ?? wHAT IS THE Purpose behind that ? i know that loopback is for checking TCP STACK instaleed properly or not.. but what is its job on cisco routers ? pls reply me thanx
