Movie plays, but playback head won't move!
Late Friday afternoon panic. Gee. I installed Director updates, did everything...except re-boot the machine. It finally dawned on me to try that, and the problem was gone. Appropriate to 'fess up on April 1.- rcroft

This is a quaint problem that has turned up in a couple of our lab machines (G4 Macs). In *any* movie, new or old, when we click play, the playback head acts as if there is a looping script in the first frame. Only there is no looping script. I have search Director references for some obscure...- rcroft
