I heard DST settting check command ..i tried below is the output .. So this would be fine …is everything is good for nov 4…moreover I am concern about timezone name , mine is PST8PDT ..but below it showing UTC and PST5EDT what’s that???? Pls suggest me.. Pacific10:~ # zdump -v...- mrindia999

hai all... i am an aix admin..but need to handle couple of linux boxes too..don't know much about how to handle next week time change settings..in aix we have /etc/environment variable is changed to TZ=PST8PDT,M3.2.0,M11.1.0 so is there any timezone variable in linux boxes too or we have...- mrindia999

Hi , we have bunch of aix boxer in that most of them have 5.3 TV4 && APAR IY75211 fix is already installed , but few of them are at 4300-10 .so IBM doen’t support any fixes for those and suggesting change TZ variable in /etc/environment in my box that TZ variable is already set as below...- mrindia999
