Process is fairly easy using ghost..
Prepare one workstation the way you want. (Spend some time ensuring that it is configured exactly the way you want them ALL to be)
Then you image and save to network, or CD-Rom. (Network is best, because to deploy images, you can plug machines into network...
You can use poledit and WinNT style policies to lockdown Internet explorer, and in fact I do so at our site. We use policies on our Novell network, saved to a shared directory.
I would recommend setting a default home page in the policy.

Simple file sharing is causing this problem. It relies on "guest" access to allow file sharing. If you turn off this feature, file sharing will be more like Win2k. User rights to file structure might need some tweaking, however.

We use Ghost 7 at our site. I ran into problems with Novell Client issues. I wouldn't recommend trying to run the Ghost Client feature ( on the workstations ) with Novell 5 or less. Perhaps Novell 6 wouldn't have a problem, since it does not need a client.
