Thanks for the responses so far. Initial installation of the Server OS is no problems. We have that under control using the [SetupHotfixesToRun] section of the unattend.txt in our server build process. It's more to do with the servers out there that will need SP4 in the future.

I'm trying to find out a way that I can slipstream several hotfixes (in particular the one in response to MS03-026) into a Win2k SP3 or SP4 installation. Does anyone know if Qchain will work with the SP itself or is there another method?

There is an option in the System ROM to enable redundant memory - basically this uses one of the memory modules as a hotspare (similar to the way an array controller assigns a hotspare for a RAID disk set).
To turn it off Press F9 for the ROM Based Setup Utility and then select Advanced Memory...
Are you using the disk or partition dump option. If you dump the disk, you can end up writing an image of free space. Take the partition option, and it only does the data. If you have more than 1 partition, just make more than 1 image.
I'm having the same problems. We have one primary site, and several secondary sites.. no further child sites, only happens on secondary site though. any additional vlans or address changes on primary site are all ok.
Am trying the re-install on the secondary site server now.
