sorry if I wasn't clear in my first post... but I was looking for the workstation ports, not the server ports. To open up like a web server on port 80 would only require one port, but to allow that to browse the net via Iexplorer, you would need to open those dynamic temporary ports... those...
install Terminal Services, and download the TSC client(it's also on the win2k cd). This gives you a gui from anywhere in the world via tcp/ip. You pretty much have just as much control as if you were at the console, except graphics(such as opengl) and directx.
