    I do not know if this can be done. I am working with a Novell guy. In Novell when you add a folder it is hidden from everyone except those who have permission to access it. In AD, when you add a folder, it is seen by everyone but can only be accessed by those who have the proper permissions...

    Is it possible to install Active Server Pages (ASP) Forum on a Domain Controller? When I attempt to install on the DC, it cannot add to SQL because there is not a "Local" computer account.

    Everyone is using SQL Server Authentication and are set up the same way. There are no errors in the SQL Logs and none in the Windows Event Logs.

    SQLBill, I just ran those commands and there was no noticeable difference between them.

    I just tried it both ways and it is still taking a long time to connect to the server. I also removed the client tools and reinstalled. Did not work either. What happens is when I connect to the server, it just takes so long to open.

    It comes up. It just takes a very long time. All of the other computers it comes up fast and have no problems.

    Ok. Enterprise Manager works with no problems on the all of the computers it is used on in the office except one. When the computer that EM does not like is trying to get into the server, it hangs up or just takes a very long time to connect to it. Any suggestions???

    When I attempt to connect to a database on my SQL Server I get the following message: "[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver] Cannot generate SSPI Context" I am running SQL Server 2000 in a Windows 2000 environment.
