    take it you have checked Autonegotiation and in particular Duplex and Speed parameters on both ends ?, if not try setting to half-duplex then watch counters (having cleared first) then ramp up etc J

    we have ip helper address stmts against those Vlans requiring it on catalyst before it will work, this doesnt stop the requests, only allows them thru !

    not sure what the problem is but I had issues connecting to XPLEX using PPP and on Cisco I had to enter a command IPCP ACCEPT ADDRESS b4 I could get them to talk - best of luck with it. J

    think you should be configuring the isdn's as 'backup interfaces' to the serials, this should cause them to drop after the dialer idle timeout is reached, an alternative is to use floating statics with a metric of say 200 (assuming you're using default metrics)

    not sure if we have same setup but the ip helper address go under the int vlanN part of config and can be set to a variety of addresses
