I had a similar problem when I installed a 40 GB into my computer in that it saw it as a 10 GB. What I found is that the bios had three different options for my hard drive when I used the autodetect option. I tried them all out until the computer saw it as a 40 GB.

I have a 3com linkbuilder FMS II 12 port that I can't link to can anyone help as I want to be able to configure it.

I have just aquired a linkbuilder fms II 12 port switch but don't know how to link into it unfortunatly I don't have its ip address. I told I can link in using a com port but this doesn't seem to work either. Also what are the default login details. :-(
