Cannot get 1280 x 768 resolution
Try connecting the external monitor to the docking station. Boot the Laptop up, again, while docked. This should push the signal to the secondary, external, monitor, exclusively. In turn, this should give you the option to change the resolution on that monitor. If that does not work, then...- Miata94C

Have you checked the video settings while docked? Try disabling the Laptop monitor and strictly using the secondary output to the docking station. This should tell you if the laptop monitor is causing a problem. You could try setting the secondary monitor as the Primary display first, then...- Miata94C
