Windows ME Startup screen
When starting up my fathers new PC with Windows ME an offensive picture shows up on the screen right after the Windows ME opening screen. It is only visible for about 10 seconds then disappears. It then reappears on shutdown again for about 10 seconds.I can't find it anywhere on the hard drive...- fixitman

Downloading mpeg movies
When I try downloading mpeg movies from a newsgroup which has multiple pieces the first file works ok (eg.1/10). When I download any other pieces (eg.2/10)of the movie it comes up as giberish on the screen and Outlook starts to "search for hyperlinks" and locks up my computer until its...- fixitman

Outlook express newsgroup question.
Where are viewed newsgroup messages saved on my computer when using Outlook express 5 as my newsreader. I would like to delete any messages I have previously read but can't figure out where they are kept. thanks, fixitman- fixitman
