Have just tested BAB 11, and I can report that broadcast, event and smtp logging works fine - straight out of the box, so to speak. Exchange alerting still not working. Have been told that this is a Mapi/outlook problem on 2003 server, however I still do not know the fix. Regards, Mark R.

Update - BAB901 on Windows2003 The broadcast alert service was not working. Found that Windows2003 has the "messenger service" disabled by default. Enabled the "messenger service" and set for autostart, and broadcast alerts now working. I think this was similar on...

davidmichel, yep, sending a test message also produces the same failure. I have finally reached a CA support person, who has admitted up front: "there ARE known alert problems with Acserve901 and Win2003/Exch2003.." That is the reason why there is no Exchange option in the Alert...
