    It would be nice if there were a command line to "Close Outlook". Then we could invoke it in a batch file prior to either a scheduled backup or, in your case, a shutdown. I have not found it. David

    Cannot Connect to server in same workkgroup

    Is the problem machine conected somewhere using VPN? That would make the machine invisible to the rest of your network. BE uses only TCP/IP. If you have another protocol, like NetBUI installed, you may see the machine from the rest of your network, but BE would still be unable to connect.

    Backup looks completed but reports Failed.

    I had a similar problem until I installed the Remote Agent on the client machines. That cleared up the "Failed" flag as well as significantly speeding up the backup.
