    Why does boot up for tcp/ip take so long??

    anybody thought of the thing trying to find a DHCP ? ( if yes, is there one ? ) sorry if thats one of the "obvious" stuff, but I don't see it posted anywhere .... this might explain the delay... anyway, about the CAT3, this is _not_ suitable for 100Mbit anyhow..... good luck. !?

    2 NICs in 1 comp help me!!

    I found in more than one LAN-parties I hosted that 2 NIC's in one PC ( regardless the OS, but W2K seems to behave better ) when running Quake2 is causing all sorts of erratic behaviour. anyway, since U are not sharing the internet connection, either U play on the LAN / OR play on the WAN...
