Sending automatic emails through unknown email program

How about if I have the system detect Outlook as the default mail editor? If it is not, then I do not allow the emailing. If it is, then all is good. The problem is that I don't know how to automatically detect the default email program. Any suggestions?

Where does Word use up memory?

fumei...I am glad to see that you took a visit to that site and get the code, and are working with it. I am hopeful that someone as experienced as yourself can break through it and get it working! From what I read on this site about the office clipboard and the many frustrations, you will be a...

    Clearing the office clipboard

That is a great suggestion... Umm...how would one do that? By the way, I did some searching on the web for any type of solution. It would seem that this frustrates more than just myself. There is an interesting post from someone who obviously has a workaround, but the code is a bit over my...

Where does Word use up memory?

Aside from the "off thread" stuff, I still have a pending issue. oh my...this is going to be interesting! According to this thread here http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1227582 you cannot clear the office clipboard. I think I will start another thread with this issue, and see what...

Where does Word use up memory?

Thanks...that looked easy! However, I don't seem to have "cutcopymode" as an option! Is it possible I am missing a reference? Further research on this board shows that I have to load MS FORMS reference, but that is not an option on my reference list! What am I missing here?

Where does Word use up memory?

It IS the clipboard! If I manually clear it out it is good... Now the question is...can anyone save me some time (from srouring help file and this site) by telling me how to clear it?
