    I also had the same problem and since I have 2 more printers i replaced evrything i could think and still the same until by luck i run out of the magenta toner and had to replaced and voila ! , no more problems

    Just bootup from a floppy that had fdisk in it and at the dos prompt type fdisk/mbr Tha will refresh the boot sectors

    15.001.42 means the drum thermistor appears to be open. Replaced the drum temperature sensor

    error code 6.001.42 means X-axis home position not found.Indicates that the x-axis home sensor has failed,or something has prevented the printhead motion during a home operation
