Make sure you have the extensions in the Cisco identified in the Avaya UDP (uniform-dialplan). At one of my locations we had it going to node 999 which our route-pattern took that and went to the trunk connected to Cisco.
I hope this makes sense and helps.

I have a question about Outcalling.
We are setting up users to work from home. We have Modular Messaging and Audix. We want to alert the home users when they get voicemails. The MM works great with Call Me. The part that the company likes is that it can be controlled by the voice team by...
I am currently using the suggestion by Susan. I wonder if this could of been done with Provision. But then again since I do not have Provision, never mind.
Thanks for the replys.

Hi All,
Is there a way in CM 2.? (too lazy to look) to run a report to see which stations have a call-forward button.
My esteemed colleague has sent a report by running list call-forwarding that shows who is currently actively using the button and the destination. He also told my boss that...
I hope I am on the right track here in helping you with your issue. I want to check to make sure that when connecting to the MM server, you did the following:
Went to Outlook > Tools > Options > Mail Set Up Tab.
Then you went to Email Accounts. Add new E-mail Acct. and in the next window...
Could someone direct me to either a link or an Avaya document that would have a list of circuit packs.
I had found one before in a spreadsheet that also included a description of the boards. But in moving from one company to another I neglected to save a copy for myself.
Thanks in advance,

Just a reminder about the primary and secondary coverage is that the system allows a total of I believe 8. So you could have 5 primary & 3 secondary or any combination of the two that make 8.
Good luck

This is just an FYI incase the button does not take on extension 166.
If I remember correctly, it should be programmed in your allow / disallow list. These can be administered to either the station or the trunks.
Good Luck,

Hi Duff,
I would assign a phantom extension using a DID and have that number cover directly to voicemail.
If you have to use a line, then yes I would pick a line not in a hunt and assign the line to all the vm ports (extensions) on the system.
I hope this helps.
If I remember correctly, you can make a group auto-login and set up a time schedule that will automatically put them in on a time basis.
I hope this helps.
