DVD plays audio but no video
I changed HD and did a fresh install of XP and all updates including SP3. I also replaced the defective DVD drive. I have the DVD Writer on IDE #2 as master and a CD writer as slave. When I try to view a DVD, I get perfect audio and WM11 shows the chapter list but only a black screen. When I try...- j2dawson

Thanks for the info. It is labeled "SE", but doesn't mention LVD. I'm assuming that the standard 2940U/AU is LVD. Jim- j2dawson

I switched from a DLT7000 to an SDLT drive. With the DLT I was using a Adaptec 2940U SCSI adapter, with the SDLT I'm using a Adaptec 29160. My question is, can I use the DLT7000 on the 29160 card? I want to erase some of my original DLT-IV tapes before selling the old drive and tapes but would...- j2dawson
