    Using Quark 4.1 for PDFs

    I have found you need to be using a Postscript printer driver when creating PDF files from the Print menu. Have you downloaded the PDF plugin from the Quark website? I have found it quite useful when working with PDFs. I hope this helps, Ben

    ConnerIntel, The only way I have been able to reduce the size of my mailbox while im out of the office is to save large attachments to disk, print the email and delete it! I know no other way. Cheers

    images for single color printing

    If your printer is using only 1 colour just save all of your images as greyscale in photoshop or whatever program you use. For the format, I would use TIF because it is the best quality and has the least problems when printing. :)

    Retain Quark style when Getting Text

    We found if you copy and paste from Word in to Quark the Quark style sheets are used, not those from Word.

    Lost Font for an old PageMaker-file

    mbuss, HELV isn't just an abbreviation for Helvetica is it? If so helvetica is on all Macs and most PCs. Maybe you can use that and just see if the text reflows. squeaky [thumbsup2]
