Actually, before V5.3, PM was using the 286 PC MotherBoard only as an active backplane...in V5.3 and later, it was a 386 motherboard (again only as an active backplane)...
The software was NOT DOS..it was OS/2 modified by IBM (of course)...PM never have a way to easily save msgs to an electonic...

So there WAS a KY-T phone?? I cant find any history on it at all.....All I can find is the KX-T series...Do the KX-T7633 or 7636 have the same features/button as the KY-T7625? I take it there are direct subs??

I understood that when Avaya bought Nortel, the BCM line was to be killed off....and support stopped rather quickly...SO what's the status of the BCM line with Avaya? Did they just quit on the 200?? What models are still available if any? What's the word on life of support?

For customers wanting to update their phone systems, which would the brain trust recommend? ESi is small to large but has some limitations...I personally like the BCMs but is Avaya still supporting them and releasing new software? IP Office is a nice small box...but have little experience on it...
