How do I get a sound file to play start to finish in power point?
Wow, when I tried to play a song by just inserting it in the first slide, it would stop as it transitioned to the next slide. the only way I could get it to play throughout the show was to put it in the master. I will try this again and see how it workds, thanks guys.- mswagner

Well then if you are sure you have all the settings correct, set it to loop, see if that helps. I am not having that problem, so I can't tell you how to solve it. It seems I usually have a transition that causes problems similar to that- mswagner

Make sure you have it set up only in the Master slide, not inserted manually into each slide. I did the same thing.- mswagner
