I having some trouble trying to assign a logical name to a DLT drive(Dell PowerVault 110T on PowerEdge2500 server). Is this possible on windows. I want to be able to do the equivalent of the unix
"mount <DLT logical name> /dev/DLT"

nope have'nt made any changes to the WINS IP addresses.
The user I login with is a local user, does that also affect the WINS? Have I mentioned that this also happens at shutdown, in that it takes a very long time to save my personal settings before the server...
