Hi all,
CR10 and CE10 on SQL Server 2000.
Within CR10 the report returns 23 rows of data.
Within CE10 the report returns 1 row of data (only the very first row). This happens when previewed or scheduled.
I've taken the SQL from CR10 and applied it to the database and the 23 rows that it...
Hi All,
I've managed to sort the problem out !!
I simply changed the viewer to the Advance DHTML one and all the reports now drill down all the way with no errors.
Still don't understand why the other viewer options caused the errors and BO have not been very forthcoming with any sort of...
Hi bzzyplaying,

Hi bzzyplaying,
Errors that I'm getting are only on scheduled instances, not in CR10 or in preview. The errors are :

Still new to this so please ignore my ignorance if I...

This should be fairly straightforward (I hope) !!
I need to add a new column to an existing table. If I use the simple
ALTER TABLE tabname
ADD newcolumn SMALLINT NULL
then the column gets added as the last field. I need to be able to add the field at a specific point within the table...
Thanks madac, we do seem to be running an early version of 8.5. We will be upgrading to 9 shortly so I won't bother with the update just yet.
Allypen, your info was useful too, as that has helped with the version we are using at the moment. I've also made sure that all the fields are position...
When exporting to Excel (ver 5 ->) blank rows and columns appear in the spreadsheet where there are none in the report. There dosen't seem to be any consistancy in where the blank rows/colums appear though !!
Anyone had similar wierd results ??
