Phaser 840 on a Battery Backup?
As far as needing enough power to start the printer once its on battery power, I don't think that would be a priority. All I would want the backup to do it keep the unit warmed up. Nobody would be printing on it either, while on battery backup. So the question is how much of a battery does it...- GarettJohnson

I've heard that when an 840 gets turned off it uses a lot of ink. How much ink does it use? The question I'm wondering is if we put the printer on a battery back up, how many power outtages would it take to pay for a backup unit? Does anyone know about how much a a stick of ink it uses?
