In fact I have done what is explained above, it works with Word but I can not use this method with Excel ? I have an error (1004) It does not even create a Notes message

I tried this solution, but I have always the same error :
URL syntaxt incorrect.
But if I use the same URL with the exect function, there is no problem. Example : c:/choc.csv
Should I use quote ? is there something else to do ? Do you have any idea ?
I am using Notes R5.
Rgds
Thanks
Dear all,
I would like to insert an hypertext link in a Notes message to open a file that is on a network drive.
An hypertext link, or something else, I would like to allow people to open the file by clicking ones on something.
Thanks in advance
Téphane
