The relationships I had established between my tables were "indeterminate". This was a result of setting up the correct primary keys, etc.
I have made the adjustment and all is well.

I have a form bound to a query. When it loads (the form) I assign the the name of the query to the Record Source property of the form.
If I try edit the results of the query,
I then get the error 'recordset not updateable'
The recordset is a dynaset. The query is nothing complicated...
I'm trying to carry out a specific function that will only run if members from a particular user group log on to the database.
Does anyone know if there is a similar function to CurrentUser(), but one where an entire group of users can be referenced (eg Accounts), not just one user at a time...

By going through Explorer, they are by-passing the switch within the shortcut to the workgroup information file that contains all the user names and passwords.
The switch looks like this:
("C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE"...

I would like to set up my database such that users cannot access it by going through Windows Explorer. Rather, they must use the shortcut I have set up on the their desktops. By using the shortcut they are switched onto the workgroup file and prompted to enter username and password...
I would like to set up simple transaction log to see who does what with my data. I say "simple" as I am a relativly new user. Any help would be great.
Also, does someone have some code to help me keep track of who is currently busy in the database?

Not all the strings contain semi-colons, but that will certainly help reduce the result set.
