Hello,
Has anyone seen problems like this? We are begining to notice that our Windows NT/2000 clients leaving hanging nsrexec after the backups are stopped. In our environment, if the backups are still running at 7:55, then we stop all of the running backups. But even if I wait a few hours...
We have upgraded to 6.1.2 and now have almost 100% failure rate with out Netware servers:
* nwfsops002:DATA: RPC error, Unable to send
* nwfsops002:DATA: (201) DATA: hplgm1
* nwfsops002:DATA: Sat Jul 6 02:37:14 2002: rcmdsrv nlm
* nwfsops002:DATA: can't end rec 1
Hope someone can help me with this.
I just did a new install of Networker 6.1.1 on an HP-UX 11i server and I can't connect using the Windows gui on any workstations. I get "Authentication error". However, it works if I put my ip and machine name in the hosts file. I know it uses DNS...
If you are still having a problem with this, there is a fix that I can send you. It was just provided by Legato after I had an open case on this for a long time. Email me at dave02861@yahoo.com if you would like the patch.
regards,
Dave
Hi,
Does anyone know where I could get any Networker Journal Back issues? I'm interested in Issue 1 Volume 1 which has an article on extreme cloning. I've emailed the publisher but they have yet to respond to me.
thanks,
Dave
