I wouldn't turn off the fixup, it works perfectly fine, when you are receiving directly from the internet. It provides great protection by filtering the port allowing only certain smtp commands to come through, if this firewall were separating lan segments with multiple other exchange...- mdaddy

Exchange 2000 Active Directory Connector w/ Windows 2003
Hi Anyone used the ADC to sync exchange 2000 and server 2003 AD, does it work OK? We have a client in a bind that wants to move to exchange 2000 from 5.5 and they have already upgraded AD to 2003.- mdaddy

Using VPN clients behind a NAPT router..
On the PIX I do you have the isakmp nat-traversal command entered enabling you to encapsulate ipsec in UDP packets, allowing you to connect behind NAT boxes. Also you will need to have this setting checked on the client itself- mdaddy

Your outside access-list (the one specifying smtp) isn't applied using the access-group command and your static statement isn't right. Since you are overloading on .217 you need to specify a PAT statement that looks like this. static (inside,outside) tcp xxx.xxx.xxx.217 25 192.168.10.1 25...- mdaddy
