This should be a fairly simple question. What make an excel file size increase? Does the size increase based on number of sheets, formulas or VBA code?
I know that a combination of these will make up a file size but lets say I have two files... both starting with th same amount of data and...
Another query - I have created the drop down list by the using the Tools - Validation and everything works well. The only problem is the font sixe in the list boxes is really small - how do I change this font size?

First - I've created a list box in excel which, for example, lets say gets it's list values from J1:K3. The list box itself is linked to cell A1 - meaning the chosen value from the list box goes into cell A1. By the way, this list box sits in cell A1. All this works...
thanks straybullet - although some graphs do this automatically. Is there a setting that can be used to allow this - I have about 20 graphs that have dynamic data and hence some text are rather short while there are other more lengthy texts.

I have a report which gets its data from a query. Also I have set up a form to get specific records froom this query.
The form has a combo box on it with three columns
Col 1 Organisation Name
Col 2 Organisation Code
Col 3 Organisation ID
It is set to display only the first two columns...

The report is grouped by "Category Name" and in this section I have a textbox called "Count" which has =count(*) in it.
In the Header of the report I have another textbox in which I have the formula you have used...

CountField is a Number but CategoryName is a textbox - what are you trying to do with the "*" ?????
