Error message from Adaptec (v3.5a) says there are currently no supported CD recorders available.
Adaptec (v4.02) doesn't say anything but doesn't write any information to the disc either!
CDRWIN also says there are no supported devices...
I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, I've checked cable connections, undone everything, redone everything. The CD-R/RW and DVD drives are separate, they are both connected properly to the IDE cable and are set to master and slave (I tried it the other way round too but that did nothing)...
Just got my hands on my new PC and when I go to burn a cd the thing wont work! I just keep getting error messages with Adaptec Easy CD creator, then tried CDRWIN but that doesnt even recognise it as a CD writer!
I tried removing it and then starting the whole thing again - kind of installs...
Is it possible to get one? Does anyone have the necessary files for Word2000? I've searched everywhere and can't find any for download. Can anyone help? - I've written a German document and could really do with spell checking etc soon! Thanks.

When I used to have Win95 installed (the good old days) all my .WAV and movie files opened with rundll32, now my system gets continually messed with when I install even the smallest of programs. Can anyone tell me the line to type in the file association deal? It was so much better like that...
I recently upgraded to Win98SE from Win95 by doing a clean install. When everything was done and dusted I checked Drivespace. To my horror I saw it read 2GB free space and 0GB used space, I have a 5GB hard drive!
Is there anything I can do? :-(
Thanks in advance...
