i recently purchase an (external) Ultrium 2 SCSI backup tape (40/80 GByte)drive on IBM H70 AIX 5L. Since it was purchased , i have been unable to backup properly on it. What could be wrong? Is there a compartibility isue between the Ultrium and the H70? Are there patches to install?? Thanks

my backup rs/6000 reported a filled fs in the error log "errpt". "df -k" reported that the root fs was filled up. After extending the root fs however , i am able to "ping" but un able to "telnet". The console also freezes thereby leading to a cold reboot. Please help!
