    Cheap Ink Sticks???

    Although these inks are cheaper, I advise you all not to do this. The density of the ink is significantly different and we see heads that have been destroyed by third-party solid ink all the time.

    Should Phaser 840 be kept on all night every night?

    When you turn on the printer from cold, it performs a cleaning routine to calibrate the printhead.. This uses a lot of ink! I don't imagine that turning it off will cause it to break more, but i'd recommend leaving it on just to save of the hideous cost of ink.

    850 errors: 22.500:92537 and others

    The 07.xxxxx message you mentioned is a motor stalling error, as it's only appeared once or twice it's probably a bit of crap in one of the gears.. Try whipping the sides off and see if theres anything obvious.. The 22.500 messages are media jams. 22. means media jam 5 front cover 00...

    Tek Phaser 840 - Error 13,004.43:51323

    The error code means that one of the jet heaters isn't responding, usualy means it needs a new printhead. It might be worth taking the sides of and re-seating everything but if this doesn't help its a new head.
