    Cajun P120 Software Upgrade

    Yes... I have rebooted the switch. From my research Bank A seems to be the backup O/S (in case the normal O/S on Bank B fails for some reason). I have yet to figure out how to upgrade it. I appreciate your response. Respectfully, Gary

    Cajun P120 Console Problem

    Almost forgot... This setup works with a STRAIGHT-THROUGH CAT5 cable. In the P330 user manual it says to use a cross-over cable, but only the STRAIGHT-THROUGH cable would work with my pinout listed above and the P120. Respectfully, Gary

    I have a Cajun P120 that I am trying to upgrade the software to the latest version (p120v310). I have been able to tftp the update to the P120 and reset the system, but when I execute the command 'show module' it reports that only "Bank B" has been updated to 3.1. "Bank A" is still reporting...

    You really only need TXD, RXD, and GND when used with the FRONT console port. RJ-45 to DB-9 2 -- TXD -- 3 3 -- RXD -- 2 5 -- GND -- 5 Make sure you have the port settings at: 9600 8N1 FlowControl = None Works for me. Gary
