I am having a similar problem - have been using pcAnywhere for years - but today - when I went to connect to a host using TCP/IP - I received a new dialog box(looks like a new pcAnywhere GUI window I have never seen before) - which says the following :

Just for grins - have you tried putting in the actual ADMINISTRATOR username and pwd rather than YOUR (admin privileged) acct info - I have run into a number of similar issues with Win2K (Pro) and scheduled tasks not running - and often it seems to work better if I put the ADMINISTRATOR...
How about the REVERSE of this PROCESS (i.e. OUTPUT 2 different ACCESS TABLES to a SINGLE EXCEL FILE with multiple worksheets).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestions - I will research your pointers. My guess is that this may likely be related to the low memory conditions, as it is a flaky problem that does sometimes appear to be corrected by a reboot.
