Responce Issue
Do you have vlans setup on your switch. you may have bottlenecks or experiencing broadcast storms if all ports are enaabled. -

I have a 3com SS 3300, unfortunately do not know the IP. I have no documentation from my predeccessor. This is the first 3com I've worked with, but have experience with Cisco equipment.
